Services will be held at 2:00 PM CDT on Monday, February 16, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Beulah with Fr. Kenneth Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church on Monday. Tillie Dilger was born on June 19, 1914 to Lawrence and Marion (Keller) Dilger on a small farm by Glen Ullin, ND. Tillie was raised by four siblings, Minnie, Maggie, Anna and Martin. As a child she moved to Beulah with her parents where she attended school. As Tillie grew up, she was always there to help everyone in her family. She was a very caring and giving person. Tillie met John Dewald while staying with her sister, Maggie, on their farm by Taylor, ND. She and John were married at St. Joseph Catholic Church on November 17, 1953. The couple lived in Beulah all their lives until John passed away on December 14, 1996. Tillie continued on her own until she moved to the Knife River Care Center. Tillie outlived all of her family members and celebrated her 100th birthday on June 19, 2014. A birthday party was held at the care center on June 22 with family members attending. Tillie is survived by her nieces, Agnes Fetsch of Beulah, Rose Marie Tormaschy of Dickinson, ND and Linda (Wilfred) Berger of Flasher, ND; nephews, Leroy (Jeanne) Boespflug of Dickinson and Lavern (Kathy) Boespflug of Brush Prairie, WA; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention. Tillie was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, one brother, two nephews, Donald Boespflug and Gerald Kirchen, and one great-niece Deirdre Boespflug.
