Mr. Hibbs retired from Medical Center Laundry. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and American Legion Post #61. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, David & Ida Hibbs; and brother, Gilbert Hibbs. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years, Connie Hibbs; daughters, Donna Hibbs and Melanie Fey (Don); grandchildren, Drew Kulp, Madeline & Matthew Fey; sister, Vivian Hammons (Leonard); and brother, Phillip Hibbs (Karen) of Loganville, GA. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, IN.
