Bio: World War II VeteranPFC US ARMY Enlisted: August 27, 1942Released: October 26, 1943George Edward Scullin, 83, of Morris Street, Auburn, died Thursday at Auburn Memorial Hospital.He was the son of Francis Aloysisus Scullin and Iva Mary Wilson. He lived in Syracuse before returning to Auburn in 1971. He graduated from Syracuse University. He was a radio announcer with WMBO and an advertising manager at Clark Music. He also operated Scullin Sign Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II.Survivors included his wife, the former Rosemarie Pecor?they married in Syracuse, New York August 11, 1982; a stepson, Michael A. Kane of Florida; three stepdaughters, Janet A. Whaley of Syracuse, Maureen Tansuwat of Thailand and Theresa M. Kane of Cicero; a sister, Mabel Elizabeth "Betty" Morgan.Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mosher & Neagle Funeral Home. Burial, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming.
