George Alvin Haunz, 59, who with his wife operated Myrtle's Restaurant in Crestwood, Ky., died of emphysema early Friday in his home on Toddspoint Road, Rt. 2, Anchorage. Haunz retired as a farmer in 1965 and entered the restaurant business. He was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Pewee Valley, Ky. Survivors include his wife, the former Myrtle Burns; two daughters, Mrs. Bobby Shaver, Toddspoint Road, and Miss Marie Denise Haunz, at home; his father, Anthony F. Haunz, of Crestwood, and three grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Pewee Valley, Ky., where he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the M. A. Stoess and Sons Funeral Home, Crestwood.
