  [S927] Obituary. Loretta J. Reischman, 77, of Delaware and formerly of Mt. Vernon passed away Friday evening, May 12, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born May 23, 1939 in Mt. Vernon to the late Harold and Helen (Bird) Rummel and she graduated from Sparta High School. In 1957, while attending a Christmas dance at Ohio University, she met Robert Reischman. They married on January 31, 1959 and shared 58 years of marriage together. Loretta was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Delaware and she enjoyed traveling to Tennessee and when able, she enjoyed western square dancing. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert; sons, Robert (Anita) Reischman II of Westerville and Brian Reischman of Columbus; daughters, Tina Smith of Columbus, Mary Helen James of Delaware and Vonda (James) Speckman of Westerville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brother, Gary Rummel of Mt. Vernon. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 5 ? 8 pm at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 82 E. William Street, Delaware with Rev. Fr. Michael Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Liberty Cemetery. The Snyder Rodman Funeral Center of Delaware is honored to serve the Reischman family.
