"Judi" Weir Resident of Alameda Judith Ann Weir was born January 22, 1955 to Harvey and Nadine Miller in Aberdeen, SD. She passed away October 22, 2008 in Alameda, CA. She was 53. Born in Aberdeen, Judi moved to Lodi with her family when she was 2 years old, she attended schools in Lodi and graduated from Lodi High School class of 1973. She attended St. Mary's College where she graduated with honors having earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management in 2006, she also holds her Certificate in Human Resources Management from UC Berkeley where she graduated with distinction in 2007. In 1987 Judi met Paul Weir in Lodi, the couple was married in Stockton in 1988. Judi and Paul made their home in Stockton until 1993 when they moved to Alameda, CA. Judi was a member of First Baptist Church, the Society of Human Resources Management (S.H.R.M.), and the National Human Resources Association (N.H.R.A.). She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, and crochet, but her true joy was spending time with her family. Judi is survived by her parents Harvey and Nadine Miller of Lodi, CA; husband Paul Weir of Alameda, CA; son Alex Weir of Alameda, CA; brothers Duwain Miller of Lodi, CA, and Glen Miller, DDS, of Fairfax, VA; and her sister Nancy Novotny of Woodland, CA. Friends may visit Sunday from 2pm until 8pm at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., and are invited to attend a Celebration of Judi's Life on Monday, October 27th, 11am at First Baptist Church, 267 N. Mills Ave., Lodi. Pastor Glen Barnes will officiate.
