  [S927] Obituary. Rose Leapaldt, 83, Carrington, ND, formerly of Woodworth, ND went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Jan. 19th, 2019. Rose was born Nov 18, 1935 to David and Bertha (Schneider) Guthmiller in Petersville Township, Kidder County, ND. She grew up and attended school in Petersville Township. She married Delmer Leapaldt on September 24, 1961. Rose helped on the farm working side by side with Delmer. She worked for many years at Holy Family Nursing Home as a CNA. Rose was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a 4-H leader, Sunday School teacher, member of American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and Homemakers. Rose loved her family dearly and enjoyed the family get-togethers when she got to see all the little ones. Rose enjoyed gardening, painting, crocheting, cake decorating, and was known for being one of the best cooks around and was famous for her pickles and rhubarb dessert. She is Survived by husband, Delmer Leapaldt , three children, Bryan (Gay) Leapaldt of Leeds, ND, Denise (Harley) Hallwachs of Pettibone, ND, Wesley (Deb) Leapaldt of Woodworth, ND. ?..sister in law Geraldine Guthmiller , six grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. Visitation: will be Wednesday, 9am ? 7pm followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington. Funeral Service: will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019, 10:30am at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Woodworth, ND. Burial: will be at the New Home Lutheran Cemetery, rural Woodworth, ND.
