Bio: Joanne O. Koeser, 76, of W5312 Koeser Ln. (Town of Rhine) went to be with her Lord on Monday evening October 27, 2014 at Rocky Knoll Healthcare Center. She was the former Joanne Will, born January 7, 1938 in St. Cloud daughter of the late Gregory & Leona (Enders) Will. On September 28, 1957 she was united in marriage to Elroy R. Koeser, son of Louis & Catherine (Meyer) Koeser of the Town of Rhine. Elroy preceded her in death on March 5, 2014. Joanne worked for a short time at Hansen Glove, Kiel. She dedicated her life to raising her family and helping Elroy on the farm. She also took great pride in helping care for her grandchildren while they were growing up. Joanne loved the outdoors, she especially loved going for walks in the woods to enjoy nature and bird watch. In her free time she also enjoyed gardening, reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing sheepshead and was a Packer and Brewer fan. Survivors include her two sons; Bruce (Judy) Koeser, Keith (Michelle) Koeser, five daughters; Lori (Jeff) Morley, Brenda (Brian) Schad, Lisa (Robert) Eckardt, Kelly (Tim) Denor and Amy Koeser (Al Schuh). She is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a sister; Myrtle Henschel, a brother; Bernard (Dassy) Will, sisters-in-law; Bonnie Hasler, Delores Schweitzer, Audrey (Roger) Zorn, Marlene (Victor) Frauenfeld, and Virgina Voland along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elroy, brothers-in-law; Herbert Henschel, LeRoy Schweitzer, Elwood Voland, Marvin Hasler, Louis Koeser Jr., and a sister-in-law; Elaine (Eugene) Christel Funeral services for Joanne will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday October 31, 2014 at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St. Kiel with Deacon Pat Knier officiating. Burial in the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00pm until 6:45pm when we will have brief family rites. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name. Joanne's family would like to thank the caring staff at Rocky Knoll along with the nurses of Hospice Advantage for the care and compassion shown to Joanne.
