She is now in her heavenly home with her Lord. Dena moved to Salem in 1932 when she was 9 years old from Goodrich, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Israel and Kathryn Hartman. Dena loved being active with her hobbies of bowling, gardening, playing bingo, bunco, card games and crocheted many beautiful things. She worked at M&F for 25 years, and spent many years of volunteer work with her church, Trinity United Methodist and with Meals on Wheels and the Keizer Senior Center. She loved to travel and was a long time member of the Hobo Sams RV Club.She is preceded in death by her husbands Austin Davis and Jiggs Noland, infant son Dennis, and granddaughter Jessica Jacobsen.She is survived by her sisters: Joella Hartman and Gay Holmes of Keizer; and her children: Dee Wickizer of Salem, Darrell Davis of Eugene, Audrey (Ken) Jacobsen of Salem, and Rich Davis of Salem. She has 4 grandchildren: Kurt Jacobsen, Brian and Karen Wickizer of Salem, and Gregory Davis of Portland. She has 2 great grandchildren Ethan and Isabel Jacobsen that were her delight.A celebration of Dena's life will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 590 Elma Ave. on Saturday November 1, 2014 at 11am. If you wish to attend this service please bring a canned food donation to the Lord's Cupboard.
