Bio: Judge Terry D. DietschEvansville, Ind.Judge Terry D. Dietsch, 82, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday July 29, 2015, at Deaconess Gateway Medical Center, emergency room. He was born September 11, 1932, in Evansville, to the late Val A. and Kathryn (Meyer) Dietsch.Terry attended Assumption and St. Benedict Grade Schools and graduated from Memorial High School in the class of 1950. He received his BS Degree from St. Edward's College in Austin, TX, in 1954, then enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. After the war he attended I.U. Law School and graduated in 1959. Terry began his law practice in 1963, with Bamberger, Foreman, Oswald and Hahn. He then went into private practice and became a deputy prosecutor. In 1965, he was appointed Judge of Vanderburgh County's newly-created second superior court and was the youngest judge appointed in Vanderburgh County history. Terry served on the bench for over 50 years and was still serving as a Senior Judge. He was formerly a member of St. Benedict Cathedral, and now a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He also served on the Board of Overseers at St. Meinrad School of Theology. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bill, Larry and Steve Dietsch. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara (Spafford) Dietsch; sons, Jeff Dietsch, of Evansville, Michael Dietsch (Beth), of Newburgh, and Mark Dietsch (Dana), of Evansville; daughter, Susan Cameron (Mike), of Newburgh; grandchildren, Megan, Seth, Eric and Erin Dietsch, Noah, Jonah and Rachel Riley; stepgrandchildren, Katie and Sam Cameron; and nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday August 2, 2015, and will continue from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714.Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday August 3, 2015, at the funeral home with Fr.
