Gindlesperger Birth: 28 Feb 1877 Death: 19 Sep 1927 (aged 50) Burial: East End Cemetery, Windber, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA Memorial #: 48949585 Bio: Johnstown Daily Tribune, Sept. 20, 1927BROKEN BACK FATAL TO WINDBER MINERAs a result of a broken back received August 13 when caught under a fall of rock while working in Mine No. 42 of the Berwind-White Coal Mining Company, Henry Gindlesperger, aged 49 years, of this place, died at 5:02 o'clock last evening at the Windber Hospital. The body was turned over to Undertaker G. C. Meek to prepare for burial and has been removed to the home of Mrs. G. B. Baumgardner, where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Mr. Buffenmyer, Pastor of the Scalp Level Church of the Brethren, assisted by Rev. Dyer Belote, Pastor of the Moxham Brethren Church, Johnstown. Interment will be in the East End Cemetery. Mr. Gindlesperger was a son of the late Peter and Rachel Gindlesperger. His wife preceded him to the grave in 1922. He is survived by these children: Mrs. Barney Barrett, Windber; Alma and Foster, Scalp Level, and Ruby Gindlesperger, Crumb, Somerset County, together with these brothers and sisters: Mrs. G. B. Baumgardner, Windber; Daniel, Alva, Okla.; Gabriel and William, Geistown, and Josiah J., Mahlon and Tobias, of Scalp Level. Family Members Parents Peter C.
