He was a member of the Garrett post of the American Legion and Auburn Moose Lodge No. 566. Mr. Shoudel was born March 25, 1927 in Auburn to Anthony and Rosa (Kopp) Shoudel. His mother survives in Auburn and his father is deceased. He married Janet R. Rugman on June 30, 1972. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sue Gibson of Auburn and Lisa Barger of Garrett; one brother, Robert of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Mary Roop of Auburn and Patricia Cline of Butler, and six grandchildren. Friends may call Friday from 2-9 p.m. in McComb, Dilgard & Cline Funeral Home, Auburn. Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.
