Mr. Ruppert was born in Huntington, IN on September 6, 1942, to Paul and Irene (Miller) Ruppert. He married Sharon Cook on November 30, 1963. Phil graduated from Andrews High School in 1960. Phil worked at G. E./Lockheed Martin beginning in 1964 and retired in 1999 He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntington, Andrews Lions Club, and G. E. Quarter Century Club. Phil enjoyed watching sports but especially liked watching the Purdue Boilermakers. Phil enjoyed serving for the Lions Club and enjoyed helping people whenever he could.Phil is survived by his wife Sharon; two daughters, Amelia Jo ?A. J.? (John) Broxon, Huntington, IN, Melinda Scott, Fort Wayne, IN; two brothers, David (Carolyn) Ruppert, Ronald(Janet) Ruppert, both of Huntington, IN; a sister, Mrs. Shirley Palmer, Columbia City, IN; two grandchildren, Christy Broxon and Andrea Broxon.Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Yetive Ruppert and Meredith Ruppert.
