Pfeifauf, 76, of Linden, formerly of Elizabeth, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 in UMDNJ in Newark. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Mass which will be offered in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke St., Linden on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. Interment of cremains will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Born in Elizabeth, Frank moved to Linden in 1998. He was employed by the County of Union as a maintenance man for the Union County Court House, Elizabeth, for 10 years, retiring 10 years ago. Previously, Frank was employed by Vincent's Brass and Aluminum Company, Union, and as a young man worked in the family business, Frank's Deli in Elizabeth. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, serving for two years in Alaska. Frank was a member of Dean Gessner Knights of Columbus Council, Elizabeth. He is survived by his siser, Mary Ann Kelly and her husband, Martin, of Coralville, Iowa, and was the loving uncle of Kristine Caldwell and her husband, Jeff, Martin J. Kelly and his wife, Julie, James F. Kelly and his wife, Anne, and Ryan M. Kelly and his wife, Vanessa; also surviving are eight great-grandnieces and nephews. Frank donated many of his organs to the Sharing Network so that others might benefit from his gift.
