COCHRAN
William W., of Prescott Valley, AZ, formerly of Oradell, peacefully completed his life's journey and answered God's call on May 7, 2015 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
William was born on July 27, 1925 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the only child of the late William W. and Clara (White) Cochran.
He proudly served his country during World War II with the 260th Infantry Regiment of General Patton's Army in the Central Europe-Rhineland Theater.
He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service, among other decorations and citations.
Upon Retirement from International Paper, William worked as crossing guard at the Oradell Public School for 15 years.
He faithfully read his Bible every day and took great comfort in a personal relationship with his precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
William is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elinor (Coester), daughter, Janet; sons, Kenneth and William; and grandsons, T.J. and Timothy McGovern and Kyle Cochran.
Funeral Services were held in Prescott Valley, AZ followed by entombment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
Arrangements were by the William G. Basralian Funeral Home, Oradell.
