She enjoyed bowling in Women's Bowling Leagues, playing softball, antiquing and collecting with her parents, was an avid Purdue Fan, and enjoyed NASCAR and was a Tony Stewart Fan.Surviving with her parents is a daughter, Victoria Suzanne Smith; a brother, James M. (wife, Robin) Schmidt; a sister, Theresa L. (husband, Steve) Gellenbeck all of Lafayette; also surviving are three nephews, Vincent, Matthew, and Jacob Schmidt; one niece, Cassidy Schmidt all of Lafayette; a beloved Aunt Barbara (husband, Don) Stevens of Missouri; a special cousin, Deborah (husband, Randy) Johnson of Dallas, TX; and maternal grandmother, Loretta M. Franks of Lafayette; and Aunt Shirley (husband, Oak) of Missouri. Also surviving is her buddy, Harry, her cat. Preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Wiley Franks and paternal grandparents, Teresa R. Schmidt, R.N. of Lafayette, and W.J. Schmidt of Frankfort.
