  [S927] Obituary. Obituary Image Juno A. Guthmiller, age 83, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017, at Jenkins Living Center in Watertown. A memorial service will be held at a later date to remember this kind and humble man. Juno was born on May 27, 1934, in Ashley, ND, to Emil and Mathilda (Grenz) Guthmiller. He attended country school through the eighth grade. On July 1, 1954, Juno married Delores Rudolf in Ashley, ND. Together the couple had one son, Randall. The family farmed near Ashley until 1977 when they moved to Clark, SD. While living in Clark, Juno and Delores owned and operated the Hyway Motel for 11 years. In 1988, Juno and Delores moved to Watertown, where Juno worked part time for Pletan Furniture until he retired. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Watertown. Juno was passionate about fishing and gardening and excelled in both. Juno is survived by a sister-in-law, Lenora Dittus, of Lehr, ND; a brother-in-law, Elmer Rudolf, of Wishek, ND; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores; his son, Randy; his parents; and three brothers.
