(Memmer) Nix and was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. Larry was a veteran of the US Air Force serving in Vietnam and was a member of American Legion Post #5 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Larry received his MBA from the University of Louisana in 1976. He had worked 40 plus years in the sales industry. For 14 years, Larry owned and operated Nix Bonding as a bail bondsman and was employed by Warehouse Services, Inc. He was a 15 year member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.He is survived by sister, Kay Nix Cox and brothers, Steve Nix, both of Evansville and Shawn Nix (Cindy) of Mt. Vernon, IN.He was preceded in death by his parents.A Celebration of Larry?s Life will be held at 11 am, Friday, February 20, 2015 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home - 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Father Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Poseyville, IN.
