Lawrence Reisenauer was born on December 5, 1936, in Gaylord, ND, to Alex and Mary (Scheetz) Reisenauer.Lawrence served in the US Army from March 10, 1955, to December 15, 1956, and returned to North Dakota where he was employed as a cook in Hettinger, then Anaconda, MT, and back to Dickinson.On October 7, 1959 Lawrence married Mary Ann Dukart in New England, ND. In 1960 they made their home in New Mexico where Lawrence worked in the uranium mines. Moving back to North Dakota to farm before moving to Willow River and Moose Lake and dairy farmed. Later Lawrence and Mary Ann made their home in Bowman where they owned and operated Flag Stone Terrace. In 1973 their marriage ended in divorce.Lawrence met Drucilla Isabel Koljonen and her 3 children in Bowman, North Dakota. Lawrence and Drucilla moved to Plummer for a short time where they farmed, then moved to Crosby, ND, where they owned and operated a motel and supper club. On July 10, 1981 Lawrence and Drucilla were marrie. They resided in Dorset, Minnesota where Lawrence continued farming. In 2000, Lawrence and Drucilla retired and made their home in Wadena.On March 7, 2008 Drucilla passed away. Lawrence continued to reside in Wadena and recently made his home at Perham Living. On November 13, 2016 Lawrence passed away peacefully at his home at Perham Living-Burlington at the age of 79.
