H. Kenyon Foesig Jr.
H. Kenyon Ken Foesig Jr., 56, husband of Joyce A. (Mensch) Foesig, of Green Lane, died Sept. 11, 2004 in his home after suffering from complications from a recent bout with cancer. He and his wife celebrated 18 years of marriage last Sept. 20. He was a son of Helen M. (Matz) Foesig of Lansdale and the late Harry K. Foesig. He was a 1966 graduate of North Penn High School, Lansdale. He was the owner of Ken Foesig Sheet Metal, Green Lane, for the past 15 years. Prior to that, he and his father owned and operated Harry Foesig Sheet Metal, North Wales, in the 60s and 70s. He also worked for W.H. Fenstermacher Co., Lansdale and Omni Mechanical, Gilbertsville. He was a veteran of the Navy, serving aboard the USS Enterprise and the USS Ranger during the Vietnam War. He was a member of American Legion Post 996, Sullivan Count. He was a member of the Green Lane Fire Company. He was also a member and former trap director of the Boulder Valley Gun Club and an accomplished trap shooter, winning his last competition in July. He was an avid conservationist, outdoorsman, trophied archer and loved hunting, fishing and spending time at his mountain cabin in Sullivan County. An avid fisherman, he was one of the original planners of the Marlborough Green Lane fish rodeo. He raised and trained English Pointer field dogs. He was a gifted builder and was instrumental in the design and building of his home and his fathers log cabin. Survivors: Wife; mother; son, Scott A. Bergey of Red Hill; daughters, Jennifer of Arcata, Calif., and Pamela of Topton; sisters, Sally Bosler of Pal and Lynne Allbaugh of Zionsville; grandson, Devon Bergey.
