Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Beaver Meadows.Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, traveling and taking road trips.She was a registered nurse at St. Luke Village, Hazleton.Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her father-in-law, Eugene, in 2001.Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Michael Baran Sr.; sons, Michael Jr., California; and Nicholas, Indiana; daughters, Deborah Baran, Beaver Meadows; Dr. Jeanette Baran-Gale, Scotland; Katherine Baran, Virginia; Barbara Baran, North Carolina; and Anastasia Baran, California; brother, John Breslin Jr., a retired commander from the Navy, and his wife, Vicki, Virginia; twin sister, Suzanne Hough and her husband David, Berwick; grandchildren, Dimitri and Thane; mother-in-law, the former Helen (Harabin) Baran, Beaver Meadows; and many nieces and nephews.The funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from John J. Pusti Funeral Home Inc., 480 W. Broad St., Hazleton.Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul B.C. Church, Beaver Meadows.Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Parastas will be celebrated Sunday at7 p.m.John J.
