Mrs. Hartman, a graduate of Andrew Lewis High School, had resided in Salem, Va., Maywood, N.J.,Hackensack, N.J., Succasunna, N.J., and Washington, D.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah B. and Beatrice Gray? also two brothers, Douglas Gray of Floyd, Oliver Gray of Troutville.Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Robert C. Hartman? sons and daughtersinlaw, Robert C., Jr. and Lois Hartman, Wisconsin, David and Beth Hartman, Salem, Mark and Laura Hartman, Morristown,N.J.? daughter and soninlaw, Jerie and Garry Booth, Dallas, Texas? grandchildren, Gregory and Christopher Booth, Kevin and Timothy Hartman and Samuel Hartman? also a greatgranddaughter,Alexis N. Hartman? two brothers, N. David Gray, Salem, Earl Gray, Salem, several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be conducted at St. John Lutheran Church 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 1999 with Pastor Mark Graham and Pastor David Delaney officiating. Inurnment will be in St. John Lutheran Church Columbarium. The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 4608 Brambleton Ave., S.W., Roanoke, Va. 24018.
