She was cremated.Mrs. Disque died Tuesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born July 3, 1909, in Douglas County.She had lived in the area all of her life, moving to rural Lawrence from Worden in 1969.She married Homer M. Disque on Feb. 19, 1930, in Olathe. He survives.Other survivors include a son, Eldon L. Disque, Lawrence; three brothers, Lloyd Puckett, Lawrence, Gerald Puckett, Baldwin, and Orville Puckett, Albuquerque, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren."The above obit was published Wednesday, March 6, 1991 in the Lawrence (KS) Journal-World Her remains were cremated and the location of her ashes is unknown to this contributor.
