Hildegarde Miller ; Hildegarde Miller, 86, -Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of peasant Hill, Calif., died July 18, 2000, in her home. Burial will be 16 East Lawn Memorial Park, Sacramento, Calif. Hildegarde was born in Tuttle je Martin J. and Magdalena TJCVagner) Miller. After school, ;she worked in Bismarck and was !the first woman to pilot an air-klane in North Dakota. She moved to California in 1944, where she lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay area until her move to Knoxville in 1998. t he was involved in community affairs, and enjoyed crocheting gardening and traveling $h$oughout the United States iand Europe. fehe was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheree McGrath. "i She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Rosey Miller, Knoxville; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Ed Kahler, Missoula, Mont.; one sister-in-law, Alvina Miller, Tuttle; and numerous nieces and thephews.
