(Edwards) Cordes. She first married Harry R. Igou in 1947. He died in 1987. She then married Kenneth Erb in 2001.Surviving are her husband of Hollidaysburg; a daughter, Tami A. Ross of Scenery Hill, Pa.; a son, Thomas L. Igou in Georgia; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bellwood, where she was past president of the UMW Women's Guild.Mrs. Igou had been employed at Cresson State School and Hospital as an art teacher.She was a 1940 graduate of Bellwood High School. She attended Penn State University, studying psychology and journalism.Mrs. Igou served as a WAVE in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1943-46. Mrs. Igou had been a Brownie Troop leader, Talus Rock Council.Friends will be received from 4 to the 6 p.m. services Wednesday at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.Interment at Blair Memorial Park.
