George E. Lehmann former county resident A service will be held tomorrow for George E. Lehmann of Marietta, Ga., a former Monsey resident who died Thursday at the Kennes-tone Hospital in Georgia. He was 71. Born Sept. 22, 1918, in New York City, Mr. Lehmann was the son of George and Louise Mein Lehmann. Mr. Lehmann was raised in New York City. He lived in Queens before moving to Monsey in 1963. He moved to Georgia almost two years ago. Before retiring in 1987, Mr. Lehmann was president of the New York Water Meter Repair Co. in Long Island City. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus on Long Island. Survivors include three daughters, Karen Angeli of Georgia, Alyce Clark of New City and Denise Carney of Chenango Forks, N.Y.; two granddaughters, four grandsons, a step-granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Ruth Van Valen, died in November 1969. Tomorrow's service is scheduled at 10 a.m. at the St. Bonifice Church in Monsey. Burial will be at the Cemetery of the Ascension in Monsey. Calling hours were scheduled today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home, Route 59, Suffern.
