David is survived by his sister, Linda Cogar; daughter, Kreslyn Bennett; grandson, Cameron; and very special friend, Carolyn Thompson. The family wishes to give special thanks to his cancer doctors, the staff at Akron General Medical Center, and the staff of Hospice of VNS for their special care given to David. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services. Published in Akron Beacon Journal on Apr. 15, 2012
