She was born in Fort Wayne on October 30, 1922 and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1940. During the war Doris worked for GE. After raising her six children she worked for Walker Research and volunteered with the SPCA and Humane Shelters. Her love for animals were great. Survivors include her children John (Sharon) Fosnaugh, Karen (Tim) Hake, Susan (Eric) Heffley, Kevin (Pam) Fosnaugh all of Fort Wayne; and Cheryl (Ken) Uffelman of Herndon, VA; and Greg (Darby) Fosnaugh of Cleveland, OH; 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brothers Norman and John "Jack" Henry both of Fort Wayne. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth L. Fosnaugh in 2002, sister Helene Briggs, brother Joseph, and parents Joseph A. and Lillian E. (Degitz) Henry. D.O.
