Ervin died Tuesday, December 4, at Avera St. Luke?s Hospital.Visitation will be from 2-7 pm Sunday at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St. and also one hour prior to the service at the church.Ervin Kranzler was born on October 3, 1915 to Fred and Magdalena Kranzler. He grew up and attended school in the Roscoe area.He married Rose Guthmiller on November 26, 1939. They farmed east of Hosmer until 1971 when they moved to Aberdeen.He did custodial work for many years at various places.He was cared for at home by his wife with the help of AngelKare until his hospitalization.Grateful for having shared Ervin?s life are his wife, Rose; one son ... two daughters ... one sister ... five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John & Elmer; and one sister, Lydia Dabbert.
