(Oyster) Kesterke.A graduate of Marlboro High School, Mr. Kesterke was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, a self-employed farmer and a truck driver for Clem Lumber.Mr. Kesterke was a longtime member of Science Hill Community Church. He served as a trustee for the Marlboro Cemetery Association for 24 years; and enjoyed gardening, sports, hunting and playing cards.Walter is survived by his daughter, Janice (Dale) Lucas; son, Lynn (Becky) Kesterke, both of Alliance; four grandchildren, Brenda (Brendon) Baughman, Michael (Jeanelle) Lucas, Valerie (Dennis) Crumbley and Charles (Ann) Kesterke; and eight great-grandchildren, with one on the way.Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Florence (Worley) Kesterke, whom he married Dec. 7, 1947, and who died May 2, 2011; and an infant brother, William.Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
