He was born Jan. 12, 1921, to Peter and Rose Fischer in Fayette. He entered the Navy Jan. 17, 1942, and was discharged Nov. 7, 1945. He married Priscilla Christina Thompsen Jan. 9, 1947, in Donnybrook. Survivors: wife; daughter, Teresa Cervia of New Hampshire; sons, Brent of Arizona, Dirk of Texas; sisters, Frances Schoemer, Minot, Joann Myers, Dickinson; brothers, Lawrence, Ted and Bob, all Butte, Mont., Jim, Billings, Mont. Funeral: Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Bottineau. Burial: Church Cemetery. Vigil service: Tonight at 7 in Nero Funeral Home, Bottineau.
