Mae age 95 of Hamilton died Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Westover Retirement Community. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 30, 1917, the daughter of Edward J. and Rosa (Hasselwander) Bross. On October 19, 1950, she married Walter F. Grace in Cincinnati, Ohio and he preceded her in death on February 16, 1996. Mae retired from Mercy Hospital in 1982 after 17 years of service. She was a Mercy Rose, past president of the Hamilton Elks # 92 Auxiliary, a past president of the Elks 500 card club, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society of St. Peter in Chains Church. Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and numerous god-children; close friends and caregivers, Adam Theele and Tom Schanie. Besides her husband, Walter, she was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert J. Bross and Master Sergeant Raymond A. Bross who was killed in WWII; two sisters, Lucille Ortie and Lorraine Stiles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 am Thursday in St. Peter in Chains Church with Fr. Ronald Haft celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 am Thursday in the back of church. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum.
