  [S927] Obituary. Obituary for Dorothea Fabacher Dorothea went to her heavenly home on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the age of 62. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Livingston. Dorothea enjoyed cooking for her family and made the world?s best pot of gumbo. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden and talking to the many birds that visited, especially the hummingbirds. Dorothea loved to go camping in Grand Isle with her family. She loved to be in the outdoors whether it was hunting or fishing. Dorothea was a wonderful and unique woman who is already deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Fabacher; daughter, Angie McDonald; son, Greg Bethelot; step-children; Shannon, Cody, and Austin Fabacher; sister, Gayle Bergeron; brothers, Carl, Johnny, and Donald Navarre; grandchildren, Jade Berthelot, Kristen, Brooke, and Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Tayzleigh, and Tayzden. Dorothea is preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Edgar Navarre; and brothers, Roy and Harold Navarre. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Hammond, on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 12:00 noon.
