Born Aug. 16, 1939, in Oil City, he was a son of Austin L. Marsh Sr. and Helen I. Pleger Marsh. Mr. Marsh was a 1958 graduate of Cranberry High School and received a bachelor's degree in theology from God's Bible School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a lifelong resident of the Oil City area. Mr. Marsh worked for 30 years as a logger for Marsh Lumber Co. He attended the Franklin Wesleyan Methodist Church. Mr. Marsh was a very active member of the Pinegrove Volunteer Fire Department. He was married June 15, 1963, to Imogene ****, who survives. **** In addition to his parents, Mr. Marsh was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Marsh. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Hutchinson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Franklin Wesleyan Methodist Church with the Rev. William Rosengreen, pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Lyle Langdon, pastor of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Oil City, and the Rev. Bill Davis, pastor of the Pleasant Hill Wesleyan Methodist Church.
