Marsh of Venus RD1, died of severe hemorrhaging in Oil City Hospital soon after admission.... Born at Coal Hill, Venango County, April 15, 1920, Mr. Marsh was a son of Fred B. and Grace Blauser Marsh. He attended schools in the area and graduated from Oil City High School.Mr. Marsh was a veteran of World War II.He was a partner in the Fred B. Marsh and Sons Lumber Company, which currently operates a lumber mill on the Bredinsburg Road.He was a member of the Free Methodist Church at Coal Hill.He and the former Laura Clark were married June 17, 1944. She survives along with 10 children, ****, a grandchild; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Marsh of Oil City RD 2.Surviving also are five brothers, Austin Marsh of Venus, ****, Gerald Marsh of Diamond, Donald Marsh of Oil City RD 2, ****, and a sister, Mrs. Roger (Doris) Schreffler of Sacramento.Friends may call any time after 2 p.m. today at the Faller Funeral Home in Fryburg, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday.Removal will be made at 1 p.m. Wednesday to the First Free Methodist Church in Oil City, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m.Rev. Elton Fox, pastor of the Second Free Methodist Church of Oil City, will officiate assisted by Rev. L. J. Lindsey and Rev.
