Edmund C. Roser
Holland Patent – Edmund C. Roser, 65, of Asher Dr., died Saturday, May 24, 1986, at Faxton Hospital after a long illness.
He was born February 24, 1921 in the Town of Ava, the son of the late Arlington F. Roser and Clara Roser Sasenbury. A veteran of WW II, he served with the U. S. Army in Burma and the Panama Canal Zone. He married Vivian Shaler January 13, 1945, in Stittville. Mr. Roser was employed by the State Dept. of Transportation for 36 years, retiring in December of 19, 83. He was a member of the CSEA.
Surviving, besides his mother in Boonville, and his wife are a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Dick Roberts, of Holland Patent; and a son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Helen Roser, of Holland Patent; three grandsons, Christopher, Todd and Rob; one sister, Mrs. Donald (Arlene) Leska, West Monroe, NY; two brothers, Floyd Roser of Hawkinsville and Leon Roser of West Leyden.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the George W. Koerner Funeral Home, Holland Patent. Interment in Townsend Cemetery, Stittville. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday 2-4 and 7-9. In his memory, please consider the Prospect Ambulance Fund.
