Birth: Dec. 14, 1877 Jersey City Hudson County New Jersey, USA Death: Apr. 6, 1970 New Jersey, USA Caroline "Carrie" Seibel Zaeh was the first child born to German immigrants, Friedrich/Frederick Seibel and Katharina Puster Seibel. Carrie was one of eight siblings: Katherine "Katie" Frintner, Frederick William Seibel, Amelia Seibel, Anna Maria/Amy Seibel, Phillip A. Seibel, Lulu Seibel Sayer and John Nicholas Seibel. Carrie was the first sibling born and the last sibling to die, therefore, Carrie had the longest life of all her siblings. Caroline "Carrie" Seibel married Herman Zaeh on 20 Oct 1904 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jersey City, NJ. This couple had four children: Stillborn baby 31 Oct 1905, Edwin Zaeh, Carolyn Zaeh Kiefer and Herbert Zaeh. The stillborn child was buried with Caroline "Carrie" Seibel Zaeh's parents, Friedrich/Frederick and Katherine Puster Seibel's grave located in Bay View Cemetery. Her husband, Herman Zaeh, died 20 October 1920 at the age of 50. Hermann and his mother Barbara were buried in the Lutheran Cemetery possibly located in New York. Carrie Zaeh lived at 180 A Jackson Avenue in Jersey City on 26 July 1926. Caroline "Carrie" died at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. The grave cost $415.44.
