DALTON -- Gary D. Boulet, 73, passed away May 11, 2013.
Born Sept. 25, 1939, in Barnesville, to Emile and Mary Catherine (Anderson) Boulet, he was a resident of Dalton for the past 50 years.
Gary retired from Advance Bronze in Lodi, after 30 years of service, and had served as a 4-H adviser, Little League coach, past treasurer of Dalton All Sports Boosters, and past director and past president of Ohio Festivals & Events Association.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, driving for his friends in the Amish community, and trying not to miss any of his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Sandra; a son, Jeffrey (Eunice) Boulet of Whitehall, Mich., and a daughter, Barbara Keyes of Dalton; grandchildren Samuel, Mark and Emily Boulet, Chelsey, Eric, Andrew and Nicholas Keyes; his mother, Mary Catherine Boulet of Barnesville; a brother, Keith Boulet of Lore City; sisters Justine Borton of Dalton, Carole (Ken) Benson of Canton; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emile, and brothers David Lee and Richard Boulet.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., Dalton, 44618, with Bill Craddock officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
