Birth: Sep. 4, 1947 Wheeling Ohio County West Virginia, USA Death: Feb. 9, 2012 New Haven New Haven County Connecticut, USA Paula Damsel Robinson, 64, of York Town Heights, N.Y., died peacefully on February 9, 2012 at New Haven Hospital, Conn. after fighting a courageous battle with cancer for the past year. She was born September 4,1947 in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of Frank and Mabel Damsel. Paula is survived by her husband, John Robinson; daughter, Johanna Robinson; mother, Mabel Damsel of Barnesville, Ohio and sister, Denise Creamer (Keith), of Marysville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Damsel. Paula's passions included music, flower gardening, pets and the outdoors. Paula was an accomplished musician and pianist, having graduated from Denison University with a degree in music. Much of Paula's free time was spent working in her rock garden which she created in her back yard. Funeral arrangements and interment were handled by Clark Funeral Home, Yorktown Heights, N.Y.
