  On Monday, January 11, 2016, age 88 of Whitehall, passed surrounded by her family, after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late George R. Laux, Jr.; loving mother of David Laux and his wife Vi, of Whitehall; loving sister of the late Leo T. Roell, Jr.; Ginny is also survived by her two grandchildren, Kara Laux-Bell and her husband Nicholas, and Jeremy Laux and his wife Ann Aufmuth, and three great grandchildren. Ginny was a wonderful watercolor artist and belonged to the Whitehall Arts and the Upper St. Clair League for the Arts. Family and friends received Thursday 1-4 and 7-9 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Donations may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243. Date of Birth : Feb 19 1927
