Harvey--Mrs. Florentine Burgard, 74, Harvey, died Thursday. Funeral Monday at 10:30, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey. Burial at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Rosary Sunday at 8 p.m., chapel of Berg Funeral Home, Harvey.
Florentine Dexheimer was born April 5, 1903, at Karlsruhe. She lived there until her marriage Nov. 24, 1924, at Selz to Wendelin Burgard.
They farmed in the Granville and Velva areas until 1939. Then they moved to a farm north of Selz, Alexander Township, Pierce County.
Mr. Burgard died in 1947. Mrs. Burgard moved into Harvey in 1956. She had been a member of St.Cecilia's church, the church Foresters, the Eagles, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliaries, all at Harvey.
Survivors: sons: Steve, Clinton, Okla, Joseph, Silz, Leo and Richard, both Minot; daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Mary) Peters, Glenburn, Mrs. Joseph (Alice) Schaan, Roseburg, Ore, Mrs. Sebastian (Betty) Kraft, Mrs. Wilfred (Eva) Keller, Helen Burgard, all Harvey and Mrs. Francis R. Pfeifer, Minot; 38 grand children; eight great-grandchildren; brother Leo Dexheimer, Portland, Ore and Mrs. Frank Diebert, Minot, Mrs. Viola Selzler, Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and Mrs. Eva Olson, Makoti.

Note: Her nephew, Virgil Gene Dexheimer, son of brother Leo Dexheimer & wife Agatha Wald Dexheimer, is buried at Willamette National Cem., Portland, OR; Memorial 94839183. Virgil's mother, Agatha, b. 25 April 1916, Karlsruhe, North Dakota; d. 8 April 1996, Portland, OR, leaving Leo a widower.
Brother Leo & his wife Agatha Dexheimer are buried at Gethsemani Catholic Cem., Harmony, Clackamas Co., Oregon; Memorial 169537211.
Florentine's parents & sister Kathrana died from a carbon monoxide accident.
