The funeral for Viola Becker, Napoleon, ND will be Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home at Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be at the Napoleon City Cemetery, Napoleon, ND.
Viola Fern Kranzler was born June 1, 1925 to Adam and Margaret (Lippert) Kranzler at Lehr, ND. She was the fifth born of six children. Viola attended Lehr Public School. Viola married Richard Becker August 30, 1941 at Lehr, ND. To this union seven children were born; Willard, Vianne, Willis, Roger, Patricia, Richard Jr and Viola Margaret. Viola was a longtime resident of the Napoleon Care center. She greatly enjoyed all the activities and games they held. She also enjoyed crocheting, TV game shows and loved visits from anyone, especially her family. Viola was the true definition of strength. Plagued with many illnesses, she fought in faith to the very end.
Viola died Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Napoleon Care Center, Napoleon, ND. She was 89 years old.
Viola is survived by two sons, Willis Becker, WA; Roger (Inez) Becker, Bismarck, ND; two daughters, Vianne Lawrence, MT; Patty Becker, Napoleon, ND; one sister, Delores Holzworth, Bismarck, ND; one daughter-in-law, Linda Becker, Bismarck, ND; twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, two sons, Willard and Richard Jr, one daughter, Viola Margaret, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
