Beloved husband of the late Cornelia Murray Dick; son of the late Robert J., Sr. and Myrtle Mendel Dick; father of Sharon Loar, Robert J. Dick, III, Ilene Ambert, Michael S. Dick, Sr., Rita Verdin and the late Lynne O'Donahue; brother of Harold A. Dick, Sr., the late Lawrence E. and George E. Dick; also survived by 18 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by one grandson. A native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Corner Club and the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Executive Committee are invited to attend the funeral at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Parkway, on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time. Interment in St. Joseph #1 Cemetery.
