Jack J. Hoff, 63, Jamestown, ND died Saturday January 4, 2013 at the Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor.
Jack was born January 21, 1950 near Steele, ND, the son of John Hoff and Bertha (Grenz) Hoff. He attended the local rural school where he received his elementary education and grew to manhood in the vicinity.
He entered the Army United States August 8, 1969 at Fort Lewis, WA. He was honorably discharged August 1, 1975 with the rank of Sp-4.
He worked at Newman Signs for many years, later going to work for Jamestown area farmers.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Leo, Emil and Sam Hoff; Christina Schneider; Margaret Spotts, and Richard Hoff.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Jack's wishes were to be cremated and a burial will be held at the North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery, Mandan, ND, in the spring.
