Marjorie G. Stockfleet, age 94 of Lawrenceville, died Jan. 9, 2015 in Lawrenceville at the United Methodist Village-North Campus.
She was born in rural Bridgeport on Nov. 23, 1920 to William T. and Ruby Pearl (Scherer) Walters.
She was married to George Harry Stockfleet on Aug. 25, 1940, and he preceded her in death.
Marjorie was a homemaker to her family, had worked in real estate sales, a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Presbyterian Church in
Lawrenceville.
Surviving family includes one sister, Jeanne Walters of Bridgeport, one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William T. and Ruby Pearl Walters, her husband, George Harry Stockfleet, two sons, Ronald Richard Stockfleet and
Harry Thomas Stockfleet and two brothers, Russel Walters and Stanley Walters.
A funeral service for Marjorie G. Stockfleet will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at the Cunningham-Young Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
There will be a visitation time from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Burial will take place in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
