A graveside service for Veronica Boespflug, 95, was held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Douglas Park Cemetery
in Douglas, Wyoming with Father Bill Hill of Saint James Catholic Church officiating.
Veronica Boespflug died Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas.
She was born Friday, April 14, 1922 in New England, North Dakota the daughter of Ignatz L. and Beata (Olheiser) Sticka. She
was raised and educated in the Hettinger, Regent, and New England, North Dakota areas. She was married to Valentine
Boespflug and they later divorced. She worked as a housekeeper in Douglas for many years.
She is survived by her children, Ron (Suzy) Boespflug of Douglas, Roy (Jacque) Boespflug of Great Falls, Montana, Rocky
Boespflug, Verna (Dan) Geho of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Valerie (Larry) Sullivan of Douglas, and Vicki (Mike) Ruybal of
Tuscon, Arizona, 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Veronica was preceded in death by her father, Ignatz Sticka, on April 10, 1955; mother, Beata Sticka Deweert in 1973;
husband, Valentine Boespflug, on December 5, 1980; son, Roger Boespflug; and granddaughter, Erin Michelle Sullivan, on
March 20, 1982.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. to 12 Noon.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
