Silliman, 87, of Armstrong County Health Center, Kittanning, formerly of Tarentum, died at 9:15 p.m. Monday (Nov. 25, 1996) in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, Harrison. Born Nov. 10, 1909, in Tarentum, she lived there most of her life. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. William G. (Eileen Jane) Tonet of Natrona Heights and Mrs. Richard (Joan) Brown of Fawn; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; and two sisters, Violet Boller of Tarentum and Rachel Beem of Bradenton, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Silliman, in 1969; her parents, J. Herbert and Jane Harmon Lawther; four brothers, George, Kenneth, Milburn and Lawrence Lawther; and a sister, Ethel Laurene. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 10th Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. There will be no visitation Thanksgiving Day. Her grandson, the Rev. Richard Tonet, co-pastor of Lighthouse Fellowship Center, Buffalo Township, will officiate.
