Silliman Sr., 76, of Primrose Lane, Natrona Heights, Harrison, died at 10:25 p.,. Tuesday (Nov. 11, 1997) in Allegheny University Medical Centers - Allegheny Valley, Harrison, after a lenghty illness. Born March 30, 1921, in Tarentum, he lived in the area all his life. Mr. Silliman served in the 80th Division of the Army in France during World War II. He was a night repairman in Department 9 at Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., Brackenridge Works, for 42 years before retiring in 1983. Mr. Silliman was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Natrona Heights. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Ida Christie Silliman; a son, William V. Silliman Jr., Etna; and a brother, Clifford Silliman of Lower Burrell. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Ann Silliman; his parents, Clifford V. and Philippine Weber Silliman; and a brother, Howard Silliman. Family links: Parents: Clifford V.
