Edward L. Kraft, 86, of Massillon, died Friday, March 9, 2007, at Canton Regency Retirement Community in Jackson Twp., after a short illness. He was born on Thursday, February 10, 1921, in Massillon, OH. he was owner/ operator of Kraft Plumbing ( Local #94 for 65 yrs), also worked as plumbing inspector for Massillon Bldg. Dept. for 15 yrs. Member of St Mary's Catholic Church He was a member of K Of C Council #554 3rd Degree McKinley Eagles Aerie #2370, Massillon Lions Club Massillon Elks BPO#441 Union Local #94 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters. Served in the Army as an field engineer during World War II. He is survived by son, William L. Kraft of Massillon, OH; son and daughter in law, Edward L. Kraft Jr. and wife Catherine of Massillon, OH; sister and brother in law, Eleanor and Robert Trinkwalder of Alamo, CA; companion, Catherine Lantry of Canton; grandchild, W. Stuart Kraft; and Fiancee, Amanda; grandchild, W. Lawrence and Jennifer Kraft; grandchild, Julie and Michael D'arcangelo; grandchild, Paula and David Stewart; Grandchild, Jacqueline and Michael Knight;

five great grandchildren, Michael, Ethan, Jack, Caleb, Samantha. He was preceded in Death by father, William A. Kraft (1966); mother, Laura E. (Nist) Kraft (1963); first Wife, Helen (McDougall) Kraft (1992);
second wife, Jayne (Fair) Kraft (1997); one brother, Carl Kraft; and one sister, Margaret Kraft. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Mary's Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon, OH
