Katherina at the age of 14½ with her parents and siblings; Peter, Christina, Marie, Liesa and Johann, immigrated to America via the Port of Hamburg, Germany aboard the SS "Augusta Victoria" and arrived at the Port of New York, New York on the 20th of May 1889. Katherina married Fredrick LANG in 1892 most likely in Logan County, North Dakota. This union was blessed with 13 children.
